FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are your age requirements?

The minimum rider age is 15. If under the age of 18, the rider must be accompanied by an adult.

How far can I go?

The units are designed to go between 30-45 miles on a single charge. This should give you plenty of time to see what you want to see. Total miles allowed will fluctuate based on the riders weight and the speed mode you are in.

Why the space theme?

ERYD was founded in Houston, Texas the Space City as we are the home to NASA. We look at each RYD as a way to explore the city! We have a home base and each location downtown is an outpost.

How fast do the units go?

The maximum speed of each unit ranges between 20-30 MPH.

Where can I ride?

With the exception of taking the unit off road, you are free to ride wherever you wish as long as you obey all bicycle rules. If a sign is posted stating no bicycles allowed then this also applies to you.

Are these hard to ride?

No. In fact, they are very easy to ride. However, before your departure, your ERYD associated will make sure that you are 100% comfortable on the unit.
